Savory Cherry and Almond Oatmeal
Gather all your ingredients and a medium pot. Prepare to cook your oatmeal over medium heat.

Cook Oat Flakes
In a medium pot, combine the oat flakes with 200ml of water or milk. Bring it to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer, stirring occasionally for about 5-7 minutes until creamy.
Add Cherries and Almonds
Once the oats are cooked, stir in the chopped cherries and sliced almonds. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Sweeten and Serve
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the honey and butter. Mix thoroughly until the butter has melted, then serve hot in a bowl.
