Fried Chicken Wings with Raspberry Sauce
Prepare your ingredients and cooking area. Have a large frying pan ready for frying.
Ingredients:
Prepare the chicken wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and pepper to taste.
Fry the wings
In a large frying pan, heat sunflower oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the chicken wings and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes per side. Remove wings and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Make the raspberry sauce
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add raspberries, sugar, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir and cook until the raspberries break down and the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
Enjoy!
Serve the wings hot, drizzled with raspberry sauce, and garnish with lemon zest. Enjoy with a side of celery sticks or a fresh salad. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
