Classic Pasta Carbonara

Gather your ingredients and prepare a pot of boiling salted water for the pasta.

Ingredients:

Pasta
200 grams
Egg
2 grams
Parmesan
50 grams
Ground pork
100 grams
Garlic
5 grams
Olive oil
15 grams

Cook the Pasta

Olive oil

Boil the salted water and cook 200g of pasta until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.

Prepare the Sauce

Egg

In a bowl, whisk together 2 eggs with 50g of grated Parmesan until well combined.

Combine Everything

In a skillet, heat 15ml olive oil and sauté 5g minced garlic until fragrant. Add 100g ground pork until cooked, and then add the drained pasta and egg mixture, stirring quickly to create a creamy sauce. Use reserved pasta water if needed.

Serve immediately with extra Parmesan on top and freshly cracked black pepper. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
