Classic Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
Prepare your ingredients: chop garlic and parsley, measure out pasta, chili pepper, and oil.

Cook the Pasta
Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook spaghetti for 10-12 minutes until al dente. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.
Prepare the Sauce
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and chili pepper, sauté until fragrant but not browned.
Combine and Serve
Add the drained pasta to the pan, toss with the garlic oil. If dry, add reserved pasta water bit by bit. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Serve the spaghetti topped with parsley and chili flakes for garnish. Pair it with a crisp salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
