Blueberry and Banana Oatmeal
Gather all your ingredients and equipment ready for cooking.
Ingredients:
Cook the Oat Flakes
In a medium saucepan, bring 200ml of water or milk to a boil. Add the oat flakes and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add Fruits
After the oats have cooked and absorbed most of the liquid, mash the bananas and stir them into the oats along with the blueberries. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
Sweeten Your Oatmeal
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the honey. Mix until incorporated and adjust sweetness to taste.
Enjoy!
Serve your oatmeal warm topped with extra blueberries and banana slices for garnish. You can store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving. Enjoy your nutritious breakfast!
