Classic Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
Prepare a pot of salted boiling water for cooking the pasta and have all ingredients ready.
Ingredients:
Cook the Pasta
Boil the spaghetti in the salted water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
Create the Sauce
In a pan over medium heat, combine olive oil, sliced garlic, and chopped chili pepper. Cook until the garlic is golden, then remove from heat.
Combine and Serve
Add the drained pasta to the pan and toss with the sauce. If it seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water. Finely chop parsley and mix in before serving.
Enjoy!
Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired and a sprinkle of extra parsley on top. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoyed the next day.
