Classic Pasta Carbonara

Prepare all ingredients before starting. Boil water for pasta in a large pot.

Cook Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook 200g pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.

Prepare Sauce

Egg

In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs and mix in 50g grated Parmesan cheese. Add pepper and set aside.

Combine Ingredients

In a skillet, cook 100g diced pork belly and 1 clove minced garlic until crispy. Add the pasta to the skillet, then remove from heat and quickly stir in the egg mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed.

Enjoy!

Serve immediately with extra Parmesan on top. Enjoy with a side salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
