Classic Spaghetti Carbonara

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil for the pasta. Gather all ingredients and have them ready for a seamless cooking experience.

Ingredients:

Pasta
200 grams
Bacon
100 grams
Egg
2 grams
Parmesan
50 grams
Garlic
2 grams

Cook Pasta

Add the pasta to boiling salted water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta.

Prepare Carbonara Sauce

Egg

Parmesan
50 grams

While the pasta cooks, fry bacon and garlic in a pan until crispy. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and grated parmesan.

Combine Everything

Toss the drained pasta in the pan with the bacon and garlic. Remove from heat and quickly mix in the egg and cheese mixture, adding reserved pasta water until creamy.

Enjoy!

Serve immediately topped with extra parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge, and reheat gently in a pan with a splash of water.
