Fried Chicken Wings with Blackberry Sauce
Prepare your workspace and gather all the ingredients. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Make sure to have a frying pan and a pot for the sauce ready.
Ingredients:
Prepare the chicken wings
Season the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Heat sunflower oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, ensuring it's hot enough for frying.
Cook the wings and make the sauce
Fry the chicken wings in the hot oil for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through. In another pot, combine blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook on medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Enjoy!
Serve the fried wings hot, drizzled with the blackberry sauce. Pair them with a side of celery sticks or a fresh salad. Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, reheating gently before serving.
