Chocolate Fig Muffins
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or lining it with paper liners.
Ingredients:
Prepare the Muffin Batter
In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg until well combined. Mix in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt to the mixture, combining until just incorporated.
Fold in Figs and Chocolate
Chop the figs and chocolate bar into small pieces. Gently fold them into the prepared batter until evenly distributed. Be careful not to overmix.

Let the muffins cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them plain, or with a drizzle of honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For added flair, you can sprinkle some cocoa powder or chopped nuts on top before serving.
