Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Gather all ingredients and heat a large pot of salted water to boil.
Ingredients:

Cook the pasta

Add the pasta to the boiling salted water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Prepare the garlic

While the pasta cooks, thinly slice the garlic cloves.
Heat the oil

In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced garlic, sauté until golden but not burned.
Combine pasta and oil
Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Add the drained pasta to the sauté pan with garlic oil.
Garnish and serve

Toss well, adding a bit of reserved pasta water if needed. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Enjoy!
Serve the spaghetti hot, garnished with chopped parsley and a drizzle of olive oil. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Adding Parmesan cheese on top enhances the flavor!
