Ingredients:
Prepare the Ingredients
Wash the cauliflower and cut it into small florets. Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly under cold water. Mince the garlic finely, and set the spices aside.
Fry the Cauliflower and Chickpeas
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then, add cauliflower florets and chickpeas to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season the Dish
Sprinkle the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper over the cauliflower and chickpeas. Stir well to ensure even coating, and continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cauliflower is tender and slightly golden.
Enjoy!
Serve the fried cauliflower and chickpeas warm, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired. This dish pairs wonderfully with a yogurt sauce on the side. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
