Classic Spaghetti Carbonara

Ensure your pasta is cooked al dente as this will be the base of your Carbonara. Have a large pan ready for mixing.

Ingredients:

Ground pork

Cook the pasta

Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.

Make the egg mixture

In a bowl, combine the egg, grated cheese, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

Combine all ingredients

In the same pot, melt the butter, add the ground pork, and cook until browned. Then, add the drained pasta and mix with the egg mixture till creamy. Adjust with reserved pasta water.

Serve immediately, topped with extra cheese and black pepper. This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in the fridge for a day. Garnish with parsley for added flavor and color.
