Classic Chocolate Cake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing them with butter and dusting with flour.
Ingredients:
Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Combine the Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cacao powder, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Add Milk and Bake
Stir in the milk until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes.
