Red Velvet Cupcakes
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
Ingredients:
Cream the Butter and Sugar
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well.
Mix the Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Alternately mix the dry ingredients and buttermilk into the wet mixture.
Add Color and Bake
Stir in the red food coloring until desired color is achieved. Pour batter into cupcake liners and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Frost and Serve
Mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar for the frosting. Once the cupcakes are cooled, frost them and serve.
