Shrimp and Bacon Macaroni

Prepare all your ingredients: chop the bacon, measure the pasta, and clean the shrimp. Make sure to have a pot of boiling water ready before starting!
Ingredients:

Cook the Macaroni

In a pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Prepare Shrimp and Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
Make the Sauce

Reduce the heat to low, add the butter to the skillet with bacon and shrimp, stirring gently until melted and combined.
Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and toss everything together, making sure the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
Finish with Lime

Squeeze the juice of one lime over the macaroni and mix well for a fresh flavor boost.
Enjoy!
Serve hot, garnished with a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of parsley, if desired. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, but reheat gently to avoid drying out.
