Classic Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
Prepare your ingredients by mincing the garlic, chopping the parsley, and bringing a pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
Ingredients:
Boil the Pasta
Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water for about 10-12 minutes until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
Prepare the Garlic and Oil
In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chili pepper, and sauté until golden.
Combine and Serve
Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with garlic and chili, tossing well. Add reserved pasta water if needed. Finish with chopped parsley.
Enjoy!
Serve the spaghetti with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley. This dish can be best enjoyed with crusty bread on the side. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
