Gather all your ingredients and have a pot of water ready for boiling the pasta. Make sure to wash and chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Broccoli and Garlic

In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and broccoli. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender. Season with black pepper.

Combine Pasta and Broccoli

Add the drained pasta to the broccoli mixture. Toss everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
